Covert Browser App Reviews

Some of the reviewers are getting this for the wrong reason. Just your basic browser for the tor network. Does a good job only negatives are that you Cant enable java, which is not so bad.

Crashes almost everytime. Pages dont load. No control over cookies or java. Very unsafe to use for sensitive data. This program is crap. I want a refund.

ITS PURE CRAP DOES NOT WORK

The IP switching is seamless. The multitasking works --well. The connection to tor is actual. Like all tor connections, itll be slower than otherwise, but is great. The app does what it says it will. a 5th star for when/if tabbed browsing is implemented. Some content (like images) ave trouble displaying only that content.

Doesnt work with Yahoo mail...cant forward e-mail..wont open message..crashes always

Do not waste your time. Do not know if I paid for it I want my money back. Hope you not gonna waste your time So covert it did not work. Cant pick less than 1 star.

Only for use on the most simplistic ( ie no graphics) websites. Freezes without warning and just stops working. This really needs browser tabs and bookmarks to make it more user friendly and useful. Update useless: Ok, less crashes after v3 but app logs me out of servers if I multitask even for a moment. Also- There is no way to know when you get logged out other than to have an unresponsive browser. No way to restart severs once app is running. Closing and reopening app does not restart service - must manually kill app in iPhone multitasker. More complex websites do not load before crashing.

The browser works great for anonymous browsing but it has some irritating functionality issues. I imagine these developer(s) will no longer sell if they do not improve it soon. JavaScript is disabled to keep you anonymous folks, this is a no brainer and the browser speed will be slower because its routed. However I find it irritating that the on screen keyboard is for URLs only yet it states you can search in the address bar, the problem with that?! There is no space button. Also the ability to choose nodes needs a cancel button for when one hits it accidentally. Once these and other performance issues/crash issues are fixed this will be a winner. Better hurry though other developers are likely to fill the need.

I thought this app might be useful for browsing the Silk Road, and while it can reach .onion sites, it wont let you past the login screen. Wasted 3 dollars, dont make the same mistake

Dont waste your money. Use the Tor bundle on a desktop for a better experience.

I dont think Google is the ideal search engine to use with this browser. There should be an onion search engine designed specifically for the app, considering Google has been known to monitor and store data transmitted through them. I used Google with Safari after using it through this app and I believe it has caused some major issues with Google. Also, the browser did not even work most of the time and should at least have a few bookmarks for easy reference. Total waste of money.

Waste of your money ,will not go to sites blank say it loaded BLANK,at least give some notes on how use. Right now it seem useless!!!!! Want my money BACK!!!!!!!

This app does not work. Crashes randomly. Getting a message back from Google that the network is sending out messages that look automated and disconnects me. I do not get this message from other browsers using the same device and network. I have not been able to connect to any page on the web with this browser. Consider this a formal request for a refund.

This app supposedly uses Tor but it does not use a spoofed user agent string. Thus identifying information about your platform at the very least. I cant help but to expect other anonymity related weaknesses. waste of money!

This browser does not accept cookies so you cant use it for any site that requires a log in. That in and of itself makes this app virtually useless.

I have Onion Browser but I would like this browser to also Torify FTP connections as it is only secure for minimal web browser and you cant trust for strong anonymity.

Really wished I would of read the review before buying it. Boy I tell ya, this is not worth your money. This app needs to be removed from the App Store period.

Definitely not ready for prime time. Still slow and totally incomparable to desktop versions

I only have one complaint, and thats that you cant do sessions, or anything session-related. Hell, I cant even set my language on Facebooks homepage. Other then that, its great :)
